Message from Parish Secretary (2024-25)
Beloved in the Lord,
Serving the Sharjah Mar Thoma Parish in the capacity of Secretary over the past term has been an enriching and humbling experience. Throughout this journey, I have witnessed how God's grace flows through the willing hearts and tireless hands of this church family. It has been a season of shared responsibilities, prayerful decisions, joyful fellowship, and above all, unwavering faith.
As I step down from the role of Secretary of the Sharjah Mar Thoma Parish, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude - to God, who carried me through this journey, and to each of you, who stood beside me in ways both seen and unseen. This has not just been a role or a responsibility; it has been a sacred privilege - one that has shaped me more than I can express in words.
Throughout this term, I have witnessed the beauty of quiet service, the strength of unity, and the power of prayer that binds our parish together.
To our Achens for your spiritual counsel, your quiet strength, and for being constant sources of encouragement and wisdom. To the Office Bearers and Kaisthana Samithi, it has been an honour to serve alongside you. Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and the grace we shared in navigating responsibilities together. To various subcommittees - Thank you for your time, your ideas, and your willingness to go above and beyond. We deeply
appreciate all that you’ve done. To our Caretakers, please know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed and we are truly grateful to have had you by our side.
To the new Office Bearers I offer you my heartfelt prayers and best wishes. Step forward with courage and confidence, knowing that you do not carry this mantle alone. The Lord who calls you is faithful, and He will equip
you for every good work.
As I close this chapter, I do so with a heart full of gratitude. We are part of a church that is alive because of people like you — who serve quietly, give selflessly, and love deeply.
My prayer is that we will continue to grow as a community that reflects Christ — in our worship, in our service, and in our love for one another. May every hand that serves be blessed, every heart that gives be filled, and every
soul that worships here finds home.
With all my heart,
Koshy Abraham
Parish Secretary (2024-25)
